Top 5 News and Magazines Apps Performance in Lithuania Q4 2022

In the fourth quarter of 2022, Lithuania's top 5 news and magazine applications displayed diverse trends in weekly downloads and active user engagement, as gathered from Sensor Tower data.

LRT.lt experienced notable fluctuations in weekly downloads. Starting at 634 downloads in late September, the app saw a peak of 4481 downloads in the week of November 21. However, by the end of December, downloads had significantly dropped to just 47.

Koo: Know What's Happening! maintained relatively stable weekly download numbers in the early part of the quarter, with a slight peak of 215 downloads in the week of November 21. Downloads then tapered off to 24 by the last week of December. Active users for the app showed a consistent pattern, peaking at 484 in November and ending the quarter with 287 active users.

Opera News: breaking & local saw consistent weekly downloads, ranging from 91 to 161 throughout the quarter. Active user numbers remained stable, averaging around 1200, with a slight dip in mid-December but recovering to 1234 by the end of the quarter.

Way2News Daily News App displayed a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 48 and peaking at 183 in the week of December 12. Active users also trended positively throughout the quarter, starting at 1425 and reaching a high of 2024 in mid-December, before slightly decreasing to 1848 by the end of the quarter.

L'Officiel Lithuania, a newcomer, showed a significant spike in downloads in the week of October 24 with 879 downloads, but then settled down to 59 by the end of the month.
